17-year old mom given wrong baby and told to return baby after six days

A Kwa-Zulu Natal mother was recently told that she has the wrong baby.
After being told she went home with the wrong baby, a 17-year-old mother from Umlazi, south of Durban, claims she has been traumatized.
According to SABC News, nurses at Prince Mshiyeni Hospital informed her that her kid had been inadvertently replaced with another in the hospital nursery.

Hlongwane claims that when she arrived at the hospital, she was told that the baby she took home might not be hers.
Staff obtained DNA samples and informed Hlongwane that the child was not hers. Hlongwane claims she was told a baby that died in the hospital nursery was hers, despite the fact that no DNA testing was performed to corroborate this.
