Tsholofelo Phetla from Soshanguve north of Pretoria is the founder of non- profitable organization named Tsholofelo organization, which she started last year august during Lockdown.

The founder of Tsholofelo Foundation, Tsholofelo Phetla

‘I’ve always wished to have my own charity home for orphans, because I’m an orphan’ said Phetla so because she can’t afford her own structure to build her own orphanage, she decided to start here, by starting with a charity organization that does not require a structure but marketing.

Phetla said that she saw how (COVID-19) coronavirus has affected lots of people (looking at her cycle) with loss of jobs, loss of breadwinners and other difficulties, so she wanted to do something, she wanted to lay a helping hand, she couldn’t just sit at home and do nothing so she started asking for help from people she knew then they donated around her community.

Businesses around her community have been generously helpful with donations and their super grateful for them, but due to the lack of rightful documents they’ve been unable to get donations from other businesses, as they require documentations. Their still working on that and hopefully they will get more sponsorships during this difficult period.
