Mabopane based laundry business is the answer to your laundry needs.

Matshidiso Yvonne Molwantwa from Mabopane block C, North of Pretoria is the owner and founder of Yv Laundry, she said that she wash and iron clothes, blankets and curtains.

She opened the business because she was struggling to find employment and the fact that she could not go to bed hungry while she has hands to work Molwantwa said that at the moment her business is only focused on doing laundry but once it grows she plans to add more services like cleaning.

She further said that she hopes to employ more people when her business grows, preferably single mothers. Furthermore, she would like to see her business in the future having many branches all over South Africa and being known for her wonderful work.

Loading shedding is one of the biggest challenges she is facing because it takes a lot of time for her clients to get their stuff back, she came up with a strategy where she irons at night because even if there is no electricity “I can wash by hands during the day, so that’s working out for me”.she said

Matshidiso said that her pricing varies according to the product she is doing for example for a big basket she charges R300 to wash and iron, to wash and iron only she charges R150 respectively while for blankets she charges R150, curtains she charges R80 to wash and iron them, she said
