NEW GOSPEL SENSATION!!!

Another Limpopian born star, Paul Phalane was born and raised in the province of Limpopo. Ga-Mashashane ( Genroi) to be exact. He is the 5th son of Mr & Mrs Phalane.

Paul attended school at Seoka Primary School and matriculated at Mangandangele high school in 2005. After matric he went to Gauteng to seek greener pastures. That is where he was employed by Tiger Brands Company, for a period of 5yrs. He then resigned at work because of ill- health, that was when he discovered his God given talent of singing.

Phalane was raised in a christian family. He was attending sunday school at church and in 2003 he joined the clap and tap choir until 2005. Phalane was baptised in the ZCC Engenas ” the dove” and he became a member of the church choir.

In the 2014 Phalane released his first album under his own self- marketing but unfortunately was not doing well because of poor management and marketing. Again in 2020 he released another album under Touch Records and people started to recommend his music and he started to perform at weddings, funerals and tombstones ceremonies around his village.

In 2021 Paul was nominated as the best performer at MAMA AWARDS, he is a composer, a song writer and also a choir leader at the church. He is the only one in his family who can sing.

Phalane believes that his first album flopped because he was still young and inexperienced. His plans for 2023 is to help other upcoming artist and work with charity organizations in his community to help others.

“I would like to work with Winnie Mashaba and Pastor Benjamin Dube in the future, working with them would mean God has blessed me a lot” says Phalane in a very respectable manner.
