Latious Ceey, birth name Lesego Chantelle Sithole was born on the 14th of July 2003. She is originally from block C Mabopane, Pretoria in the Gauteng province. Latious Ceey is a 19 yr old beautiful, young and vibrant entertainer with the talents of dancing and singing. She was raised in a warm family of 3 sisters she being the youngest, raised by a single mom who happens to be her manager.

Tendai Mapisa is one person who has been very supportive to Latious, he is regarded as a brother in the Sithole family. He is a motivator, pillar of strength to our Barca-Yano princess. Latious is very grateful to her brother Tendai.

Her family have been supportive from the beginning until now, ” My mom nd both my sister’s would go to gigs with me to show their support” adds Latious…Latious Ceey as she is commonly known started digging deep into her passion at 9yrs old, recorded her first song at the age of 14 and also started performing at local events showcasing her multiple talents.

She has shared stages with some of our countries heavy weights including Mafikizolo and DJ Lamiez. Latious writes her own music. Her music is inspired by what she feels at that particular moment, her surrounding also play a major role in her music and what goes on around her. On this particular single she worked with Saint Reigo as her producer, the up and coming Amapiano producer worked on the beats and produced the hit single.

As she is busy with her final matric exams, one of her future desires is to under take a career in Psychology and maybe even acting one day. Her future plans include seeing her music career grow and Performing abroad in big stages with the likes of “Queen B”, Beyonce her all time favourite singer/performer.

Lesego “Latious Ceey” would like to see herself in future working/ collaborating with the likes of Azana, Nomfundo Moh and Blaq Diamond and many other inspiring artists around Mzansi. As a way of introducing herself and her music to the public Latious Ceey has put together a challenge on Tik Tok called #AROUND PITORI DANCE CHALLENGE

The purpose of this challenge is to introduce the song and dance of Barca-Yano music. Latious is currently managed by her mom (Nicoline Sithole) of Vocal city and Nkagare Makhudu of (Morongwa Foundation) as her promotional manager and Boipelo Bokaba of (Vanguard Visions) as her marketing manager. Her video of the hit single “Around Pitori ” will be released soon on all social media platforms as it is already being shot. The video was directed by Vanguard Visions.
